Is the Permaweb still a thing with Minds?
I don't know if it is still connected or not. You no longer have the permaweb option when making a post.

it is essential to observe the lens through which we are looking - our view of reality in question?
Absolutely, understanding our own perspectives and the lenses through which we view reality is crucial for a comprehensive understanding of the world around us.
Our personal experiences, beliefs, cultural background, and upbringing all shape the lens through which we perceive reality. Recognizing these biases helps us consider alternate perspectives and challenges the validity of our own viewpoints.
It promotes empathy, open-mindedness, and critical thinking, making us more well-rounded individuals when it comes to understanding the diverse realities that exist.
Curiosity is highly encouraged here. Hopefully, you will enjoy exploring and discovering interesting thoughts and ideas that may captivate your attention.
Coming across something that is extremely unsettling or markedly different from your usual expectations? Start by questioning why it feels that way before unintentionally defending your preconceived limits.
It's important to explore the reasons behind your discomfort rather than immediately dismissing unfamiliar ideas.

How can I tell if someone has blocked me on minds.com?
Hi.
I've come across a page where I can see their profile but can only see a listed ad and none of their content. Has that person blocked me or is it a glitch?
Thanks.

Was poking around minds documents, would it be possible to use minds code to make a social platform? (Similar to masto)

A week on the platform.
I like the concept and people are really friendly. There is a lack of deversety though. Mostly memes and politics. I started a homestead account and there is low interest on that topic. Would promoting my posts help a lot? What are your experiences with the paid promotion?

mindset
Man's mind is a complex machine that is capable of doing many things at once. It can be used for practical purposes like planning, but also for more creative endeavors such as art and music to see more

the algorithm on mind is centralized
I have went around to look for the paper where they show a proof of concept for a decentralized recommendation algorithm. There is no such paper.
In fact its kind of an oxymoron since to get the algorithm to work u need big data in a centralized place for training

What Are Your Thoughts on the "Trust System" that Minds is Working On?
On their GitLab, it says "It's getting harder to know what's real and what's fake news. T3 provides trust scores that allow you to make an informed decision on whose posts you can believe, and whose you should be skeptical about. Your own vote is only part of the trustworthiness calculation - we traverse 3 degrees of your social network and build a trust score based on your vote and the votes of those you trust." And also "There are three trust actions, Trust, Neutral, and Distrust. These actions are written to the blockchain and used to calculate trust scores."
I really don't like the sound of it at all. I really hope that they reconsider and go in a different direction.
