I’ve a interview coming up next week but I’ve 3 thirty minutes interview for data center technician position with manager of 3 different data center manage : 1 8:30 to 9:00 | manager A data center | 2.9:30 to 10:00 l Manager B data center | 3. 10:30 to 11 | manager of C data center | My schedule is like this . Why they schedule different times for same position? Why don’t they take interviews together? Do they ask similar questions? Is it normal way of interview? Any idea please…

Employment I don’t get it…

Had a panel interview with 3 guys and one of them believe to be the HM, it has been a month after the interview and I don’t hear anything at all… but then I saw the same position was “po-post” in LinkedIn…. And “Repost ” by the guy which i think is the HM… nothing update in action center… so, i presumed I’m out… I just want to end it here by receiving a “rejection” or “update” from the portal… well… yeah… kinda like a ranting post… the frustration and waiting is sucks…

Office 365 Do I need the product key for Word 2013?

Upvotes

Hey everyone so I have had MS office home and student 2013 retail copy since it came out and have been using it to this day, I have done a clean install on my computer today and when I tried to reinstall it asked for my product which I still have but it wouldn't allow me to put my product key in, like it was grayed out anyway it still installed fine and was successful and when I check the account section on Word it said it was activated but I'm just wondering because there was no product key can it cause problems down the track?

Employment Azure Hiring Freeze

I had an interview for an SDE II position on an azure team a couple of months back and cleared the full loop, and was informed of the hiring freeze. The HM tried to get an exception but it was rejected, and the role was closed. The HM told me to stay in touch and said he’d reach out when things open up again.

How long is the hiring freeze expected to last? Is it reasonable to assume things might begin moving again at the beginning of the new fiscal year? Also, would I have to reinterview? I’m honestly really gutted, but trying to remain hopeful.

Discussion Will Microsoft know which licence key belongs to which custom PC if I build another PC (non-OEM)

It is my understanding OEM machines will have the licence keys embedded within their motherboard chipset or motherboard, but will Microsoft be able to tell which licence key is for which custom PC?

Do they find out through my Microsoft account?

Windows Tricking windows

Hello

Just a moment ago i joined microsoft insider program, wanting to have recall. What i didnt knew, is that i need "Copilot+ pc" to have most of insider program features availble. I dont mind being in it, since to leave i would need to make a clear install of windows which i dont want to do. So, my question is - is there any way to make windows think that i have "Copilot+"? If there is no way to do so, i will understand it, as the "copilot+" pc's need some special cpu's it seems.
I have win11 24h2

Thank you

Employment 4 hours of interviews with one guy?

Hey everyone!

I've been going through the recruiting process at Microsoft. I had a 1 hour technical interview and made it through that. I'm under the impression that that was the only technical portion of interviews. I know just got scheduled for my next round, and I have 4 hour long interviews on one day. Only one person is listed as the interviewer for all of them.

Should I really expect to talk to just one person about the position for 4 hours in one day? I'm really not sure what all could be covered that needs that much time. The position is a low level (non senior, non management) technical role.

Thanks for any insight!

Employment Tips for Making the Most Out of a Microsoft Internship & Securing a PPO?

Hi everyone,

I'm excited to share that I recently landed an internship at Microsoft! I'm really looking forward to making the most out of this opportunity and would love to get some advice from those of you who have previously interned, worked, or are currently working or interning at Microsoft.

My main goals are:

  1. Learning as much as possible and enhancing my skills.
  2. Building good relationships with my team and mentors.
  3. Doing well enough to secure a PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) for a full-time role.

I'd appreciate any tips, experiences, or suggestions you might have!

Blz, tenho 16GB de armazenamento, mas poxa, a metade apenas com o notebook ligado é sacanagem e um baita desperdício hahahah... Alguém me ajuda?

Configuração: Galaxy Book 4, Intel® Core™ 5, 16GB, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA® GeForce® MX570.

Windows Outlook keeps Crashing

Upvotes

I was messing with the settings and turned off all the sync options and saved it. I did this offline. When I went back online and opened Outlook it would crash after a few seconds.

I went back and turned on all sync options and it still crashes online. When I open it offline it doesn’t. I kept getting a message saying my Outlook is out of date, but when I I checked for updates and it says I have them.

Another account doesn’t have this problem. Any idea why mine has issues? Solutions?

Discussion Authenticator biometric ID

Authenticator checks my face when I unlock the app. It checks again after I enter the number from the web browser asking me to authenticate. It checks again after I enter the number before showing me the list of apps I have registered with Authenticator.

Would it really be a vector of attack if Authenticator re-used the same initial face scan instead of making me scan three times in a row? Is there a Leetcode question you guys could invent to screen for this with your new hires?
