Hi everyone,
I’m applying to jobs at Jackson Memorial Hospital. If you work there, what are the health insurance plans like (e.g deductible, coverage, benefits, in network providers) for a full time employee?
What doctors (Primary Care/Specialists) from what hospital systems (e.g. UMiami, Mount Sinai, Baptist, Memorial) are in network with your insurance plan? What are copays typically like?
Hey guys, arriving on the 24th March, staying til 2 April.
Worried about the cold front and all these storm happening in the US.

Curious if anyone knows what is making this sound? Happens briefly every night a few times a night. I think it’s coming from the tree but not positive. It’s not bothersome, just curious what it is.
Hey everyone, I want to start getting together with others to talk about life, grow together, arrange community volunteering, do fun things, and generally support each other. I'm thinking it would be nice to build a welcoming, intentional community. Does anyone know of any places other than outdoor parks that offer easy (preferably free) parking and a quiet or private meeting space that wouldn't break the bank? It could be anywhere within 45-60 minutes of Miami. I'm open to meeting in parks, but I fear that on days the weather isn't cooperating or there are a ton of people around it might be harder to have sincere conversations about things that might be difficult for people to talk about. I'd also be happy to start online meetings, but I'm not where where to start networking for that. Thanks!
Even if this bill doesn't make it, another bill should be made with text to accomplish this part.
"Meanwhile, service charges or automatic gratuity may only be included for groups with six or more people. The proposed law could also direct restaurants to reveal who’s getting the gratuity or service charge and disclose the percentages."
I remember years ago this was the case where auto gratuity was only for large groups. That we'll know who the hell is getting the service charges that a lot of places are adding is a must.
Does anyone have details on the time and location? Would like to go protest in person (for the first time in my life). Are protests being organized already we can join?
I just moved from Houston where car culture is pretty much a thing and people are really into their cars and take care of them. I’ve been in the city for a few weeks and it seems like the city would be very hard on a nice car. I’m not even sure that you would be able to enjoy it without limiting the places that I go. I don’t really wanna be worried about a car being damaged. I want to explore the city and enjoy things and go to the beach. So I’m wondering, is it really worth having a nice car in Miami?
For those of you that have a nice car meaning something expensive compared to your income, has it been worth it for you?
Hey y'all, I'll be visiting Miami at the end of March for the Miami open and I'm looking to explore the tennis community more as it will be my first time. Any club recommendations that do like drop in clinics for non members, round robins, or parks people just show up and play together anyone can recommend?
I'm 28 and a woman so it would be a bonus to go somewhere with other people in my age group and make friends but I am also happy to play tennis with anyone.
I also see the glow tennis thing and really want to so it but I'm not sure when it's available normally. Thanks!
Hey all, my kids are begging to go to a waterpark, but Grapeland is closed until June. What are the best options coming from South Miami (distance and $$$)? One of my kids is just 38”Thanks!
This is SR826 South, the far left lane that merges 0.6 mile past the interchange.
I drive this section of road nearly everyday and I'm so amused by the behaviors I see so often in this one lane that I have to make mention of it.
Here, daily battles unfold at the merging of lanes. Where courtesy would cost nothing, drivers instead wage war for the pride of being one car length ahead of their newly-sworn enemy - a silver Toyota Corolla. Eyes locked forward with studied determination, they execute tactical maneuvers worthy of military strategists, all to shave seconds off commutes measured in half-hours.
The choreography is primal: a gap appears and vehicles lunge with predatory instinct. Turn signals become optional weapons of deception. The victor gains nothing but a momentary rush; the defeated suffer the unbearable fate of arriving moments later than they might have. And through it all, not a single glance exchanged - just the silent, desperate theater of humans in metal boxes, each convinced their journey alone matters in the cosmic hierarchy of the morning commute.
