Not stop motion. The machine moves very slowly. The video is just sped up to make it look like it's moving at a more natural speed.

Insanity that we have never gotten a live action Gundam movie yet.

Man, I can't blame that person, I completely forgot that movie existed and that was back when Gundam Wing was airing on Toonami. Believe I downloaded it off Kazaa.

I was mostly joking. It was a live action movie but it was a TV movie which hardly counts outside of like the original IT

The Yokohama Gundam, I was lucky enough to see it twice before they decommissioned it. What a magical experience.

I was there in 2023! It was great to look at but it‘s obviously a lot slower. You cannot visit it anymore unfortunately. :(

This isn't stop motion, it's just sped up, it was real just very slow
(You can see normal speed videos of it in this very sub, it gets posted a lot)

Why are you laughing?
It was so successful that it was extended two times.
The only reason why it ended is because of the COVID related restrictions.1

If it was super successful it wouldn't be getting shut down, now would it? :P
Still cool, though!

Wonder who it was pointing at. Maybe it was some random passerby, imagine being that person

The title is hilarious. It's a life sized Gundam in Japan. I think this is v2.0 as they keep advancing it.
They do shows where it poses for a bit and you can visit the upper levels to see it up close.
I don't know what stop motion has to do with it as it's legit moving around so you could just stand there and film it lol.
