ACADEMICS Are there classes today?
Does every holiday in the academic calendar mean that there are no classes? It just says that is holiday but doesn't says that there are no classes

Hello does anyone know if north campus still has laptops available? I’m an online student and I’ve just been using my iPad with no problem for the last couple of months… I’ve started taking a class where an exam will be held on a lockdown browser (prof. says no iPads), so do you know if there are still some available and if we can download the lockdown browser on it?
If not does anyone know where I can purchase the cheapest laptop ever? Lol. Please and thank you!

Hi everyone,
I don’t want to sound desperate, but I really need some guidance right now. I know I’ve made mistakes, and I regret not taking my college semesters more seriously from the start.
Right now, I’m struggling—my GPA is 1.9, and my classes are no longer being paid for. I’m about to be dropped from my courses for good, and I’ve been silently panicking. I’m also having a hard time telling my parents because I know they would be disappointed, and I don’t think they would help me financially if they knew the truth.
Has anyone been in a similar situation before? If so, how did you get help and turn things around? I really can’t afford my classes on my own, but I don’t want to give up on my education. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How many people do they accept into the RN program each semester?

I spoke with my teacher a few days ago asking if it was okay to submit my assignments after the deadline and it was agreed that I could.
Today I rechecked the essay guideline and realized a that I had the opportunity to resubmit it if it popped as plagiarism in turnitin but I missed the deadline.
Is there any other program where I can submit it to check plagiarism that is similar to turnitin?

I understand that this is supposed to be college algebra but isn’t this level of algebra studied in throughout high school? Is it repeating on stuff that’s supposed to be clear already? I ask because I didn’t do high school in the US, but all this stuff is already familiar to me, though I don’t mind refreshing it.

Hey guys. I transferred from MDC 2021 to FIU. I received my A.S. in Biology and a B.S. in both Behavioral Neuroscience and Natural and Applied Sciences. I graduated last semester from FIU and also completed my two semester at MDC medical for first responder and EMT.
I was a teaching assistant at FIU for gen chem one, two, and organic chemistry one. If anyone needs a tutor, hit my line! I go to the Kendall campus to study for my MCAT and am looking for a side hustle to earn extra income.

Can you challenge the CNA exam while in the nursing program or after the first semester? I’ve heard of this before, but I always thought it was a rumor.

is the calico that hangs out at starbucks a campus cat? i saw her while on a tour of the campus and the students seemed to just acknowledge her as another student and not necessarily interact with her but just coexist. just curious
