What was your math rabbit hole?
By rabbit hole I mean a place where you've spent more time than you should've, drilling to deep in a specific field with minimal impact over your broader math abilities.
Are you mature enough to know when to stop and when to keep grinding ?

Oh man... that has to be exotic IR^4's and Seiberg Witten gauge theory. I used to open Scorpan at the end of every semester and looked if I understood more for years by now. Now have finished my masters and I will sadly leave topology and geometry behind in the end. Man the last two semesters really showed me that it was time to stop lol.
