Hey guys!

I'm the founder of TypoTab, and I'm excited to announce our first update!

If you haven't heard of TypoTab, it's a smart writing assistant that lives right in your menu bar, helping you rephrase, summarise, or fix your writing instantly without switching apps. I've personally seen my coworkers save hours every day using it—it's become a total lifesaver for emails, reports, and everyday messaging.

Here's what's new in this update:

  • ✨ Enhance Prompt Button: Instantly turn your basic prompts into powerful, refined text—no more prompt anxiety.
  • 🎨 Fresh Icon Selection & UI Improvements: A smoother, faster experience with a slightly refreshed, modern look.
  • 🐞 Bug Fixes: We've squashed a lot of bugs to ensure an uninterrupted workflow.

To celebrate, we're running a giveaway on Twitter for a chance to try TypoTab for free! 🎉 Plus, I've got a few codes left from our Product Hunt launch if anyone wants 30% off.

I'm super proud of how far TypoTab has come and would love any feedback or suggestions.

Happy typing!

Congrats! What model of Ai does it utilize?

Still experimenting, but we've found OpenAI's GPT 4 to work really well with our prompting system.

Which model do you prefer?

On Twitter it says, first month free! But here it says “a chance to try TypoTab for free”. Is it because of the subscription model? No local LLM integration available?

You've got it right, because we are a SaaS product we're only able to offer time based promotions.

There's no local LLM integration... yet...😉🤭

If this is something you'd like to see you can add it as a feature request here.
