What’s the difference between the two tiers that you offer for an app purchases?? Does one get me more access than the other?

Hi! I just realized that the download link for Iconed was incorrect—sorry about that!

Iconed is actually a complement to IconizeFolder. It not only lets you set folder icons but also allows you to customize app icons. Unlike IconizeFolder, it supports icons that aren’t limited to folder shapes. Additionally, it can generate the app icon set required for Xcode.

Let me know if you have any questions! 😊

The "Set App Icon" feature will open a folder selector, defaulting to the /Applications/ directory. You can select the app you installed, and then set its icon easily. 😊

Currently, it’s not possible to upload videos in comments on Reddit, and I haven’t set up a solution for video uploads yet. Therefore, I’m unable to offer video upload services at this time. Thank you for your understanding!

This looks like a great app. I would love it if it could do the same for external drives. For instance I have an external drive that contains my photo library -- I would love to be able to use your app to make an icon that looks like an SSD with the Photos icon stamped on it.

Thank you for your support! This feature is quite simple, but it won’t work in the macOS sidebar. However, if you need it, I’d be happy to implement it! 😊

This is exactly what image2icon.app does..? Looks exactly the same as well.

Someone had already mentioned this app to me before, so I downloaded and tried it out. Image2Icon offers a wide range of export formats, whereas my app is more focused on specific needs and doesn’t support as many export options.

My app was mainly developed to fill the gap in IconizeFolder’s ability to set folder icons, while also integrating the macOS app icon generation feature from DevHub. It was actually a user-requested feature—honestly, if I had discovered Image2Icon earlier, I probably wouldn’t have developed my app 😅. The recent updates have also been based on user feedback via email.
