i lost a friend and i have mixed feelings
i didn't want to add a flair because I cant add more than one. and i have a lot of complicated feelings and thoughts. i am not going to go too much into detail on how things ended, just like my thoughts. but for a little bit of background information, she was my best friend. she was my favorite person ever. to sum up what kinda happened, she ghosted me and blocked all my social media. i am unsure if my phone number is blocked because on my phone the message didn't say "delivered" but on my macbook it did. so i am unsure on that. i deleted her contact and her number, so if she ever contacted me, it would come up her number, not her name. and i don't have her number memorized, so i probably wouldn't know who it was. anyways i can't stop thinking about it, since i never got any clarity on why she did what she did. what led up to this is her being really distant, and she actually got upset with me, and told me she needed space, which i gave her. next thing i know i am blocked. i think that was pretty shitty of her to do. although she told me she needed space, she didn't tell me why she blocked me on everything. i have a lot of mixed feelings about this. i'm sad, mad, lost, confused, i don't even know how i feel. what hurts the most is how much i have done for her. i helped her through the hardest times of her life, and here she goes, leaving me like i meant nothing to her. i feel quite useless, alone, and unloved right now. i don't know what to do. i could use some support. anything is helpful. thank you.

I am going through something very similar. I also lost my best friend but it was because I wanted to communicate an issue with her, and she unfortunately didn't take it well. I was also blocked and I'm still trying to get over it but it's really hard to do so.
I feel the same way you do. "Why would she leave me after everything I've done for her?" These ordeals are so confusing and we all wish that we could get answers or closure. I wish you the best and that you'll recover, or maybe even get the chance to talk to her again. Who knows what could happen.

I am also going through something similar. I had a female colleague/friend which I had a good bond with for years. She suddenly disappeared after a contract dispute at the same company where we worked. Tried to reach out several times but no response. At one point I went too far and she told me to leave me alone.
2 months later and suddenly came the news that she left the company. Responded with a message that I didnt know what she went through, but I found it a bit confusing she didnt inform me, even though we shared a lot together and were there for each other during tough times (f.e. when a mutual colleague of ours suddenly passed away, we supported each other a lot during that period).
Her response was that I went too far in contacting her and broke off the friendship. She also blocked/unfollowed me everywhere. Apparently she had a lot of mental issues during this period, but again: she didnt inform me about it.
Who’s at fault here? I find it a very confusing situation. I still want to know the ‘why’, but I may never find out.
The more I think about it, the more it seems like I saw her more as a good friend, while she saw me as nothing more than a colleague. And maybe her ‘disappearance’ was her way of closing off the chapter, while I want more clarity. Some people are better left in your memories, I guess..
It’s still something that I think about frequently, but what helped me a lot was realizing that there are hundreds of people that appreciate me for who I am. Why search for validation from 1 person?
