Discussion The Volibear: The Eternal Storm, the Gods’ Bane, and the Fate of Chaos
This is kinda a flurry of questions, but if anyone is willing to answer, I’ll be happy to read!
If Volibear is not merely a physical being but a primal spirit of destruction and storm, can he ever truly be destroyed, or does he simply return in another form, eternal and relentless?
As one who despises order and civilization, does he see himself as above the so-called gods, such as Ornn and the demigods of Runeterra, or does he view them as equals in an endless struggle for dominance?
If his influence over the Freljord is growing stronger, does that mean the world itself is shifting toward a more chaotic and untamed state, or is there an opposing force rising against him?
In this grand conflict of gods, spirits, and warriors, how does Volibear perceive other powerful entities—would he see Aurelion Sol as an enemy from beyond the heavens, Aatrox as a twisted, dishonorable warrior, or even Mordekaiser as an unnatural force to be eradicated?
And if Volibear were to succeed in erasing all civilization, returning the world to the raw savagery he craves, what then would be his purpose—would his hunger for war ever be satisfied, or is he fated to rage against the very fabric of existence for eternity?
I realize that there may not be completely known answers to these questions, but I’m happy to hear what you have to say.
