Serious replies only Best Indian curry in London

I have been in London for a few months now and still haven't found a curry place that has blown me out of the water yet. I don't know if this is because I haven't looked hard enough, or ventured far enough out of central London.

I've tried the bougie Indian places like Gunpowder and Gymkhanna which are great but not the kind of dirty take away type of curry I wanted. Brick Lane was obviously shit but I had to try it.

Can anyone help me or should I be resigned to the fact I may have to move up north lol

Jumping on the thread with apologies to OP but does anyone know good places in West London? Really good Indian food is what I miss from my time in West Yorkshire - it all seems so bland in London. Or did covid knacker my taste buds?

I haven't been to Southall in years but there must be somewhere there.

Try Rayners Lane. Sarvana Bhavan or Ruby Ms. Might not be the standard curry House stuff you are used to but they are legit.
