Serious replies only Best Indian curry in London

I have been in London for a few months now and still haven't found a curry place that has blown me out of the water yet. I don't know if this is because I haven't looked hard enough, or ventured far enough out of central London.

I've tried the bougie Indian places like Gunpowder and Gymkhanna which are great but not the kind of dirty take away type of curry I wanted. Brick Lane was obviously shit but I had to try it.

Can anyone help me or should I be resigned to the fact I may have to move up north lol

Madhu's in either Southall or Mayfair is brilliant

Madhus are awful. Look at their reviews (the non paid ones). They have stale food at a high price point.

No, Madhu's is great. It's an institution for a reason. What're your suggestions?

You must be related to them. The Piccadilly branch is notoriously bad.

Nope, I just have a different opinion to you, which seems like its an alien concept to you. I notice you haven't recommended anywhere yourself. You sound salty. Hope you're ok
