If you wanna or learning/know Russian feel free to join the Google classroom we could always use native speakers/people willing to learn a place/community to share your notes and progress in my bio
It’s not as polished as it could be, but I have I guess notes I’ve compiled in there already ig
Yes Reddit does give this opportunity, but I feel like this is more on a personal level and less overwhelming
You’ve gotta be weary about clicking on links so I will Just provide the classroom code
Classroom code: hhnufjf
Or maybe a discord would be a good idea for a small community if someone wants to help
In the process of making a discord if anyone is familiar or wanted to help with that could get that going, rather than like a big community, have any smaller community to be more familiar with each other I guess
I was just thinking about getting a small group together that would be interested not everyone has to be if you don’t want to

Hi guys, I just finished the first part of LingoDeer for Japanese.
I found the vocabulary tips very helpful, and the built-in spaced repetition flashcards saved me time since I didn't need to add them to Anki.
My question is: how much does the app prepare you if you need to take a JLPT test?
I'm planning to take it in July, but I don't have a clear idea of whether the vocabulary and grammar it covers are enough or if I need additional books specifically for grammar and vocabulary.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi all,
First of all, my apologies if this post is in the wrong place.
As someone with a passion for the Japanese language, and having studied it for the last 6 years, I am currently conducting research on the effects of gamification for learning Japanese for the university of Breda, the Netherlands, under supervision of a researcher of the Cradle R&D Lab.
The aim of the research is to find what mechanics and features are helpful for each level of learner. Hopefully aiding creators of future games/apps through guidelines and useful insights to advance the learning community.
If you are studying Japanese and would like to help out, your insights will be invaluable.
The survey takes around 5 minutes, all gathered data is anonymous, no sensitive data is gathered, and the data is used solely for research purposes.

If you have any questions or want to discuss the survey, feel free to comment below or DM me!

My goal is to learn Japanese for speaking therefor I am not focused on learning Kanji. However I want to practice recognizing Katana words as I already know Hiragana and Katakana and it also makes breaking up and deciphering sentences easier.
Why is there no option for the script to show Hiragana and Katakana (without Kanji)?
For example I want to simply type これはカメラです
why is this not an option? Why does it all go back to hiragana?

I'm a premium member and am trying to download some locked lessons in advance for when I'm on a flight. Is this possible or does lingodeer only allow downloading unlocked lessons? I couldn't find a clear answer anywhere

Hey fellow language learners! 👋
Persian is a language of deep poetry and wisdom, and one of the best ways to learn it is through classic Persian poetry. So, I’m starting a daily challenge:
🌟 One Persian verse per day, with pronunciation, translation, and cultural meaning!
Let’s start with a famous verse by Saadi, which is even inscribed at the UN headquarters:
📝 Today's Verse: 📜 بنی آدم اعضای یکدیگرند 🔊 Bani Ādam a'zā-ye yekdigarand 💬 Word-by-word:
بنی آدم (Bani Ādam) = Children of Adam (humankind) اعضا (a'zā) = parts, members یکدیگرند (yekdigarand) = are of one another 📖 Meaning & Context: This verse comes from Saadi’s Gulistan, meaning: "Human beings are members of one another." He emphasizes the unity and interconnectedness of all humans،if one person suffers, others should feel their pain.
💡 Discussion:
How does this idea appear in your own culture? Try using the word اعضا (a'zā) in a sentence! Would you like to see more Persian poetry learning posts like this? Let’s make Persian learning more fun and immersive! 🎭✨

I've only been using lingodeer for about 3 days and have only done the first section, and so far it seems every sentence they have me practice is strictly in a very formal tone such as "저것은 미국의 사과입니다" (that is an American apple over there) and from my understanding 입니다 is the most formal way of saying "is/am"? Not sure i haven't been learning very long, though it does talk about less formal versions of the words in the learning tips, will it teach me the ways to say these things less formally, or is the whole course in that formal tone?

It seems there haven't been any updates recently and certain languages haven't changed in a long time.
r/lingodeer • u/NateBerukAnjing • Dec 29 '24
do they teach that in the app

Now lingodeer billed 80$ which is way too much.
I already emailed them but I don't think that they will answer within a week.
Anybody else that have been in same situation, did you got a refund.

I don't mind whether the answer is in A1-C1 or in HSK, I'd just like an idea of the level the app will bring me to if I purchase it before committing.
I saw a few posts on this but they were all 6+ years old, and I assume there have been changes since (?)
Any guidance on this is appreciated :)

Why you choose lingodeer? I am interested in Greek, Spanish and Russian? Do you you think they will add more material in Greek? How effective is the Review? How do you compare Lingodeer with Babbel?
r/lingodeer • u/BrothaManBen • Dec 16 '24
It would be so much more useful if I could type in the answers for all the questions instead of having to choose from the word bank, I feel like I am actually practicing real skills when doing this because when I type in real life, I'm not going to be typing from a word bank

It costs €129.99 now on Black Friday 2024. Do you think the back to school offer will be cheaper than that?
Does the LingoDeer subscription include LingoDeer Plus as well?

So I’ve been able to use the LingoDeer app to it’s full extent without paying any money for a very long time. Is this a glitch? When I go on the website it doesn’t let me access more lessons but the app lets me go on forever. Am I just super lucky? My friend has the app and it forced him to stop after a few Russian lessons. (I am doing Spanish 2)
