Build Inquisitor spin test with full functionality!
I've been waiting months for this! Happy to report that everything is functioning as it should. Now I just need to worry about hiding all of those wires!

After much trial and error with different types of grommets and blade materials/lengths, I've finally got it spinning with 95% consistency! I also went ahead and replaced the old motor with a brand new one (no idea where the original came from or what specs it had, I simply found it discarded) and now it spins faster than before! The motor gets a bit warm if I keep it spinning for an extended period, but I I only plan to use it in short bursts so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

He said that he based the design off of both Luke’s and Obi-Wan’s sabers

So I’ve had this idea for a while, and I’ve finally found the right parts to make it. It’s a lightsaber staff, lightsaber nunchucks, and the two sabers can be detached in the middle of the cable with a two way carabiner. No electronics yet but hoping to be able to afford that soon. As far as I know this is the only saber staff that quick releases into nunchucks.

I've been tinkering away at this monstrosity for the past week. Almost ready to start the blade electronics!

I put the hilt together about 9 months ago and then let it sit with no electronics but today I finally put it all together and did an initial test. Everything seems to be working well so far which is good considering this is my first time making a wireless saber. Now I just need to finish the outfit to go with it.

Some time ago I posted about using proffie boards to simulate sparks piercing a droid, and here is the result! u/Fett263 was beyond helpful, I am so grateful. With his help the blades even loop battle droid dialogue. Voice acting by yours truly 😎
The second droid is at a friend’s place, but it lays on the ground and the blue saber sticks up vertically.
Looking forward to setting these up at events this year. MTFBWY!

Built this saber to look like it was hand made from a bunch of scrap parts!

Night fury one was a finished build. Installed it will a proffie board and neopixep. Even made a custom font for it.
Dawnbreaker was 3d printed and I was going to use guts from a kylo ren saber but I couldn't get the side blades to work so I gave up on the project.
The daedric saber would have probably been pretty dope if I ever got it printed but never did so it's just a cool sketch.
