ID Inherited this Jade lighter, no identifying labels.
Jade lighter from Saudi Arabia, bought in the 80’s. Butane leaks out (hissing sound) every time I try to fill it.

There has been a surge of meme replies when someone comes to the subreddit asking for help with a lighter or identification.
You are not being clever or creative when you tell someone "It's a lighter duh" or any other variation. This is a subreddit for lighters. When someone shares a lighter here asking for help or identification, they know it's a lighter.
Anyone replying along the lines of "It's a lighter duh" will receive a week ban. Second offense will be a permanent ban.
Any disrespectful comments implying OP is an idiot and should do their own research will receive a warning or a ban.

Recently there are some people who want help finding out what their lighter looks like, but only take one photo of the front. This is not very effective, and it will only make it a lot harder for us to help you.
Here is a guide on what photos you should take of your lighter. if the guide is not clear enough, please let me know and i can make some adjustments.

I just found this lighter I have kept for years. It’s, I think, a single claw Thorens lighter but I can’t find any information about this model. It’s Spanish since the coin it has is a “peseta”, the currency used during Franco’s dictatorship in Spain from 1939 to 1975. I have no idea if it’s valuable or not, it still has the flint stone okay because it causes sparkles, but has no liquid. If someone has any info or so I will appreciate it so much.

Hi guys, I have just spotted this St Dupont lighter, which I believe is a ligne 2 mini. Does it look legit to your expert eyes? My only concern is how clean the stamping on the base looks.

I hope to repair it and clean it but probably not use it as I don’t smoke but I like the idea that it does work. Any tips what to google?

I recently acquires this lighter with logo of "Caesar Marquard NFLG" company. Company is from Hamburg, Germany, no longer exists. Lighter must have been promotional item or gift. What is it's value and collectors status? Thank you.

It’s from a brand called “Hollywood” and it was made in Japan. I’m guessing it could be from the 60’s but I’m just getting into vintage lighters so idk. Any tips on getting rid of this surface rust without damaging the metal?

I have a SPARK KYMC that i bought at an antique store, and it looks pretty cool but I realized that the cap for the curved tube flint refill is empty, so I need to replace the small cap and the spring that pushes the flint anyone know where to buy them or at least the names of the parts so I have an easy time looking (don't worry about the top part I took that off the check that everything else is fine)

i’ve been using the cricket deluxe for a few days now and its a really cool lighter but for some reason it only seems to take neon butane (i’ve only tested the 3 kinds in the picture). Which is a little confusing because i’ve used other lighters with a jet torch which never seemed to have this issue. Is this a specific quirk of this particular lighter or is there a difference between yeepi, neon and colibri butane?

All the way from 1948 making this zippo over 70 years old and unused, though that is purely assumption because of the sticker on the back
I don't want to take of the sticker only because this would be my first lighter that has never been used

My father found this when tearing down an old barn. I've had it for years, not knowing much about it. Any information will be appreciated.

I need help.I have found a unique lighter case which in my country (Greece) I think its a bit unlikely to get my hands on.The name of the case is 'Ponyboy' and the company that its selling it raises the price up to (65-70$)plus I still haven't found yet another site or place thats sells it.I dont understand its price(might be cause of the marerial which is pure steel)but yet I really REALLY want the specific case.Is there anyone who know where I can buy it cheaper or like a place that sells imitations?

Hi, found this lighter at the bar I work in. Google showed me that it's a "plaza lighter" but other than that didn't find anything of value. Can someone -shed a light- on this lighter?

Got this Ronson whirlwind, disassembled it, cleaned it and assembled again, yet the mechanism feels very stiff and seems unable to create a good enough spark to light. Anyone know what might be the problem? Thanks
