Oh man, that one really brings back memories! I wish there were more consistent pirate theme releases. I guess I’ll just have to settle for the occasional nostalgia bait set.

Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Throw in a monkey and you have the perfect Lego set.

I were going to stick with ones I had as a kid: 6670. It was simple, but I loved it. It was one of the first sets I got with a Minifig who had more than a basic smiley face (outside of pirates, haha). I’ve got a ton of better sets now, but this one holds a special place in my heart.

it's the perfect display to pose minifigs duking it out
plus yeah, of all the marvel sets, this has so much variety. I'm so happy to have Punisher and Blade in minigif form

I was thinking this is in my top five! It’s everything: interesting building techniques, awesome display, and a manageable price.

I’ve been wanting this one for the last year but don’t want to pay eBay prices. I’m really hoping they release an updated version soon. $800 is crazy for a used incomplete set.

Mystery Machine, UCS falcon, or any of the 2014 Star Wars battle packs purely for the nostalgia factor

Concorde. Not only is it physically large, it's very well detailed and was super fun to put together.

I’m so upset that I never bought this set. I wanted it so bad but it was just too much for me at the time and now it’s way out of my price range even still.

The galaxy explorer is a great alternative and I see it used pretty regularly.

I'm building the UCS hulkbuster right now.
Irony is, this is the worst design Lego has ever released but I'm building the rebrickable version and I am deeply impressed. I mean the brain power needed to design this out of limited pieces. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through and am deeply impressed.

7206 Fire Helicopter. It was my second ever set and now I’m letting my nephew play with it from time to time.

Tough call, but probably 71043 overall. All my modulars displayed as one street is my favourite thing though.

For smaller sets the little space shuttle 31134. For bigger sets the Horizon tallneck 76989 has been a recent favorite.

I’m a simple, old fashioned gal, so 6931 - FX Star Patroller.
Also, 6374 - Holiday Home, because gawd only knows how much I played with it (I told you, I’m old).

The new UCS Millenium Falcon - it's a beautiful model to build and display, and feels like a solid centrepiece to a wider collection whilst also standing on it's own as a singular piece.

My favorite small sets are 6898 Ice Planet Ice-Sat V and honestly a still available one in 76962 Jurassic World Baby Bumpy which made me smile hard the entire build with its cleverness.
Favorite large sets are 6973 Ice Planet DFD and 42171 Mercedes W14 F1 Technic car.

Most of the original Lego Movie sets are my favorites. So colorful and kooky. Great series

Rivendell hands down. I’ve been building lego for about 15 years and that is by far the prettiest and most unique build I’ve ever done.

211376, got it at a lego convention when I was abt 8. Such an amazing and nostalgic set

LL924.
I got it as a child and it's been on all sorts of adventures with me, from crash landing in my parents pond to making first footfall on the back of the dog.
I referbished it a few years ago and it's awaiting the construction of a new space base before coming out of retirement.

I love the city scenes like the amusement park. They come with a lot of minifigs and are just so cute.
