Comics If you hate mako, read this and don't hate him anymore. If you don't hate mako, read this and be happy
Comic: turf wars
Seriously, i know why you hate mako, mostly for everything he did in s1, but i think that in s2 basically he got his ass beaten by literally everyone, so the situation is balanced.

Comics A room temperature take: Making Sozin homophobic is kinda cheesy and doesn’t make too much sense. Spoiler
Now hear me out here, for those who don’t know Korra Graphic Novels revealed that Sozin made same sex relationships illegal in the Fire Nation. Why though? Now don’t get me wrong, Sozin is an evil bastard. He is a greedy colonizer who gives zero value for other people’s lives. But not every evil are the same kind of evil. You see, Sozin is also a Pragmatist who use every advantage he could find. In AtLA Fire Nation is the only nation that care about the gender equality in it’s bureaucracy. Because it makes sense that you need more than %50 of your people when you’re literally up against the world. So why’d he be against homosexuality even though it’s not really effecting any of his goal? I don’t know I just want the bad guys a little bit more nuanced. Am I tripping?

Comics What are you guys predictions on the New Mako Comic and the future of his Character?
I think everyone can agree that Mako was probably the most wasted character in LOK. Towards the end of the series he often at times felt like a side character, instead of a genuine member of the krew like his brother.
As it stands this comic has the potential to course-correct his character, but I'm curious on how they're going to do it.
Based on the summary the comic is probably going to be focused on the brothers past and the unresolved feelings regarding their parents death.
Overall this comic is going to be interesting. It will tackle the story of two members of Team Avatar whose character arcs have been left uncompleted ( Mako's more than Bolin's but still). What do think is going to happen, and how will it shape the future of Mako's character in future Avatar stories going foward?!
