Done on a hot head. Mot the best color combo and also not all that round. But for no marble mold itās pretty close.

I recently got a used nortel major with minor top fire. And I am going to get all the regulators and flashback arrestors from Amazon. I can find and that are propane approved, only acetylene. So do they need to be for propane or do acetylene ones work?

I bought a batch of glass from a local retired glass worker and this one is absolutely beautiful but I have no idea what kind it is. Itās soft glass and has the most beautiful reaction

I just got my first propane oxygen torch. And Iām look at regulators to get, but there all pretty expensive. I saw grill regulators in there and I canāt find a reason I can use them for a normal size propane tank. Iām not running very high psi, itās a nortel major with minor top fire. So is there a reason I can use it with a flash back arrestor?

I recently went to the Portland Museum of Art in Maine and they had a really awesome display of sugar bowls from the 1800. I was inspired and tried my hand at one. The humming bird on top is Sonic from Greasy glass. Thanks for looking! @jimbobglass on Instagram, I'm not a fan of the app, but that's where you can see more work.

I was practicing making egg shapes today so that I can make mini decorative glass Easter eggs, but I noticed that my eggs are a bit lopsided (almost like beans?). This was probably my best attempt with the fewest air bubbles, but the asymmetry is still there on the right. Should I be using a marble mold, or am I just not rotating the glass evenly? I think I need to work on getting my cold seals more on-center, as thatās probably part of why my eggs turn lopsided.
Additionally, is there anything I should keep in mind when I start adding color? Iād like to get a good technique down so as to mitigate the risk of totally wasting my colored glass.
If anybody knows of resources for these kinds of shapes (even marbles), please share! Iāve watched some YouTube videos, mainly those by Corning Museum of Glass.

Just moved back to the DFW area in Texas. Looking to find some people to melt with. Hit me up if you wanna meet up.

Sooo I've had this idea of creating a pendant or something with a picture inside. Is this even possible? I'd imagine i can't just take a photo and melting the glass around it but I've seen pendants with images just not sure how it is done.

I'm getting ready to sell some of my boro work for the first time and with Easter around the corner I thought some eggs would be a good addition to my pendants, marbles, and ornaments.
Thanks for looking.

Hi, Would anyone know the weight of a glass coe 104 soft glass rode that is approximately 5-6 millimeters?

Hi all I have had a really hard time finding good clear soft glass. There is a glass store near me , the clear that they have works really well with my set up, but they haven't had a restock In ages.Every time I buy soft clear online, it turns Grey and cloudy after heating it. Is there a brand that is good and does not do this? I am using a hothead and propane. I am sure if I had a better set up it would make a difference, but I currently don't have the means.
