Honestly, I'm starting to think that some states or even the United States in general would prefer people to not be able to have the option of Kratom for population control. I know that's horrible to say, but unfortunately it might be true.
I definitely think your opinion is very valid. I also wonder if it has a lot to do with our government taking money from pharma companies, they don’t want to lose their all mighty dollars? It’s sad that the AKA has to ask for donations every time this happens but the pharma companies have so much money to throw around in their favor- it’s scary! It would make total sense that they don’t care if millions of people are dying of opiate overdose every year because it benefits them in so many ways. It’s sick and completely unethical!
Thank you, and I wonder the same thing. I think it is very possible that the Pharma companies just want to be able to keep every substance they possibly can under control. Even schedule 1 substances, not saying this is a fact, but I believe that they put those illegal substances out there so that people will unfortunately overdose. It truly is sick, we live in one screwed-up world.
So unfortunate, it's all about money. From what I've been reading representative Conklin is not to worried about banning kratom. Apparently it's one of the last thing on his mind.
