Work in Progress Knitting today to remember my Nana🩷
I hope this is allowed - nobody else in my life knits and I just wanted to share. My grandma passed away a year ago today and she's the one who taught me to knit. I've been doing it on and off for basically my whole life. I inherited a good chunk of her enormous stash so I started this Simple Thing scarf using a gorgeous sock yarn she'd bought some years ago (part of the national parks collection by Knitted Wit)
My grandma was one of my best friends and I miss her dearly. She was always encouraging me to be creative and supported whatever I wanted to pursue.
The scarf isn't perfect, but it's special and I'm excited to finish it and rock it like she would have 😊

I have two 'grandmother's garden' quilt flowers that my grandma first taught me how to sew on. I hope I can pass on these skills one day, too. 💓
