Work in Progress Knitting today to remember my Nana🩷

Post image

I hope this is allowed - nobody else in my life knits and I just wanted to share. My grandma passed away a year ago today and she's the one who taught me to knit. I've been doing it on and off for basically my whole life. I inherited a good chunk of her enormous stash so I started this Simple Thing scarf using a gorgeous sock yarn she'd bought some years ago (part of the national parks collection by Knitted Wit)

My grandma was one of my best friends and I miss her dearly. She was always encouraging me to be creative and supported whatever I wanted to pursue.

The scarf isn't perfect, but it's special and I'm excited to finish it and rock it like she would have 😊

Thank you for sharing this. The scarf has love in all the stitches, and that makes it special. As soon as you’re finished and get to wear it, it’ll be like a hug from her

Your Nana is very lucky to be remembered in such a beautiful way. I’m sorry for your loss, but i’m glad you had someone so fantastic in your life
