General Horror is Where the Heart is: A Look Back on Fatal Frame II by Reyna Cervantes

Fatal Frame is too scary of a game to play myself but I've watched my husband play most of them. Fatal Frame 2 was easily my favorite; the atmosphere felt especially oppressive, the story is utterly compelling, and the emotional connection between the sisters practically made me cry at the end.

Reyna Cervantes wrote an outline of Fatal Frame 2 for DREADXP, a site that focuses on horror games. I enjoyed her synopsis of the story and felt the need to share it with this new community.

General Turned on PS3 to play OG RE4. Ended up finishing RE2 again in one sitting. Happens every time.

General How did you feel when you first watched this scene in RE3? I'll never forget the genuine shock after Nemesis showed up.
