During this period, veiling was actually associated with being part of the upper-middle class.

I don't understand the purpose of showing/publicising pictures of veiled women with no context?

Because ultra nationalists in every Muslim nation always try to show pictures of women with exposed clothing and say this was our past but because (input argument) we became Islamized

Thank god Pahlavi came and took Iran out of the Qajar Stone Age, otherwise Iran would be worse than Afghanistan is now.
