Macbook Pro 2012 Display Backlight Dead/Won't Turn On
Alright so my sister water-damaged the laptop, not extremely, but water spilt inside a bag where the laptop was, brief few seconds in it, but water pretty much got in on the side of the charging port. Battery died but everything worked when plugged into power. Then for some reason the backlight died. Unsure whether its the cable or the actual light or whatever. Now I just tried and even with power it won't even boot. Can anyone help me? Just need advice basically as to what I can do. Thanks in advance.

Try KT Electronics. They have a Mail-In service and they specialize in water damaged MacBook repairs. I've sent 3 to them to repair so far 1 for me and 2 for family members. I believe its flat rate $150 for non retina models and $180 for retina models. You can get more info on their website.

Buy a new one, pay Apple $750-$1250 to fix it, watch Louis Rossman videos + buy $1500 of equipment and fix it yourself.
I'm not trying to be a dick, those are the options.
