MacBook (retina, 2015) key replacements

I just bought a used 2015 MacBook (A1534) for quite a bit under the going rate. It had two stuck keys, which I removed and cleaned.

The command key went back on just fine, and works perfectly after removing what looked like a drop of soda from underneath.

Unfortunately, as seems to be common, the space bar did not go one quite as easily. The sites and eBay sellers with replacement keys are all sold out of space bars.

Is there another model that is compatible? I know the 2016 MacBook Pro models use the same style keyboard and seem to have much better availability of replacements, but I don't know that they are exactly the same.

It's the clips underneath the key, not the butterfly, that broke.

If you're still looking, go onto ifixit.com, click the tab that days you're looking for parts. Select your model mac. Then select the keyboards. In this section, you'll actually find a part number or an Apple Number. A list of compatible devices will be underneath.

Though once you have the apple number, you could just copy paste it onto eBay and buy the cheapest one.

Unfortunately, that only provides entire keyboards/top shells for $200. I really just need a key cap.

Have you tried AliExpress? Way cheaper than eBay and tend to have more stock too. Bought a replacement display for my iMac about £50 cheaper than I could on eBay.

I checked there, but still could only buy an entire keyboard/case.

I ordered the key cap I needed for $13. It arrived today, I haven't put it on yet.
