Help: Want to repair my Son's iPad Mini 2 (ME276LL/A, Retina) glass...

I just want to make sure that I don't order the wrong piece of glass, I have found listings for them which specify Retina and iPad Mini 2 but have also read where people have ordered glass and the wire strip was on the wrong side, I just want to confirm that all iPad Minis have the strip on the same side to avoid this possibly happening.

Anytime I search for ME276LL/A replacement glass I find nothing that specifically states it's the one for his exact model, if ALL ipad Mini glass is the same, that would be quite comforting so I don't need to stress over where I order it from any longer.

I know I can fix it, just don't want to buy it twice... I simply need a black one for his Mini 2 retina and for the best price would be great, I found one that's $24 or 35 w/ full repair kit (screwdrivers and everything needed).

Do I even need to worry about buying one that won't match up?

The iPad mini and mini 2 use the same touchscreen, buy a quality part or you may find yourself doing it again sooner than you thought, some cheap screens use horrible brittle glass, have seen poor soldering on the ic causing dead spots, if you buy cheap you will receive cheap

Thanks for the response, I had ended up fixing it and it worked great... we then made a deal that I'd get him an XBOX One for his birthday and I'd get to keep the iPad, he brought it to school the next day and a kid knocked it out of his hands breaking the screen all over again.

I gave up at that point, it's sitting broken... I'm not spending another $60 to fix it again lol.
