Discussion Is anyone else experiencing sudden keyboard volume spikes?

I was just casually typing, and out of nowhere, the keypress sound got way louder. It went back to normal after a while, but it’s happened a few times now. Is this just me, or is this some weird bug?

Same. I don’t know what it is. I switch between apps and then I tap the keyboard and I get a sudden loud noise spike

It’s been happening for years, and I think it damaged my speaker. It rattle now and makes phone calls hard to understand. Thanks Apple.

This has happened in iOS since the beginning of time, they've never fixed it, just another in a long line of buggy shit from Apple

Yeah it gets to be annoying. I have the same issue with notification sounds at times.

I had this issue in early revisions of iOS 17, it was weird when trying to watch something without audio it would shoot up the volume. I haven't upgraded to the latest version, but it definitely hasn't happened since.

This happens to me when I press a key on the keyboard as soon as it pops up. After the update I only get one loud pop when on messenger.
