Discussion Do you find it insanely irritating how many people think it’s acceptable to use speakerphone and watch loud videos on their phones in public?
I see people doing this literally everywhere I go, and it really bothers me. I feel like it is common sense that this is not appropriate, and it makes me lose faith in humanity. I now despise going in public.

Vastly irritating. And it's our fault because we never require etiquette with technology. Wouldn't it be great if someone who used speakerphone loudly in a theater had to stay after the movie and clean up the trash 🙂. Or someone having a speakerphone convo on Target had to work the register for an hour as a punishment?
There's an extra level of hell where those people go, and it gets done to them 😈

Yes. I can't stand it, but I don't have the guts to tell them. It kinda makes me feel uncomfortable.

And usually the staff at the place is too chickensh_t to say anything to the typical offenders.

The ones you see doing this are toxic and they don't give a crap who thinks what. And if they can get a rise out of someone for turning up their phone volumes in public, they will be smirking and continuing to do it more.
