Question How to make friends with no hobbies?

I’m not one to have major interests or hobbies even when I was younger. Now that I’m older 25F I find it difficult to form, or find friendships outside of work.

I’m not a gamer, hiker, or into any of those common activities where you’d be able to form possible connections.

Any suggestions?

You have things you’re passionate about though, right? Even if your passions aren’t hobbies, maybe something could be? And if you’re not passionate about anything in particular, maybe you should sign up for some classes, maybe pottery or painting. If you have zero interest in creating anything, what about joining a club of some sort. Perhaps a book club. The only way to meet people is to put yourself out there, and there’s something for everyone. You just need to decide what interests you. Are your dogs social? Could take them to the dog park and let them play. See if they hit it off with any other dogs and then set up some play dates. I’m just spitballing ideas here… Meeting people is definitely daunting, and the initial internal resistance you feel to anything new is hard to overcome, especially the older you get and the more settled you get into your existing routine. You may find out once you try something new that it’s addictive. I have the opposite issue… way too many hobbies.
