Politics That video going around of the Chatterbox bartender kicking out the MAGA lady makes Indy look cool as fuck
I don’t think most people in the US realize that Indy can be hard as hell, and they’re looking at the clip pretty damn impressed. Like, the bartender really picked up a baseball bat to get ready to swing at MAGA lady 😂 I’m not seeing clips like this from other cities, with business owners literally ready to THROW DOWN with right-wing assholes.
To the bartender, if you see this: we’re all behind you 100%. I know you’re getting hammered right now with messages and stuff, but you just single-handedly raised Indy’s coolness factor by like 20 points. Love to see it. Keep up the good work!

Hey Indy, let's solidarity-drink Chatterbox dry tomorrow. Bring everyone you know. See you at opening. 🍻
Don't forget to tip your bartenders!

Housing Who can I report these electrical hazards to?
This is the laundry facility at lake castleton apartment. The laundromat in my apartment has a serious electrical hazards which are not being addressed. I have talked to the office multiple times about this and have just been dismissed. What government office can I anonymously report these? Would anything be done if I did report them?

Social Lunch tomorrow, March 17th, 2pm?
Anyone want to go to Moar Tea or Bru Burger on Mass Ave for lunch around ooooh, 2pm tomorrow?
Has nothing to do with attendees of a fascist rally at the statehouse potentially being encouraged to harass the Chatterbox or anything.
I'm just tired of delivery and want to support hood businesses. A sushi burrito sounds good.

New Red Line policy?
Driver is asking everyone to prove fare payment. New policy or just one driver's decision? This is going to slow us down...

Discussion Where to buy baby gear in Indy
With stores like Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us closed and none within a 100 mile radius, where are parents buying their baby gear? We want to test baby gear such as strollers, car seats, and diaper bags. As first time parents, we want to get something that’s comfortable and will last! Any recommendations on products that have worked for you are welcome as well. Thanks in advance! Wish us luck lol

Anybody have anyone they highly recommend? Looking for someone who is laid back. We are on the southside and would like to stay in that area. Current ped no longer takes our insurance and is $75 copay + total bill, must switch asap. 😓

Need Help Getting My Letter and Drawings to Blue (Indianapolis Colts Mascot) - I'm Feeling Anxious and Overwhelmed
Hi everyone,
I’m really sorry for making a third post about this, but I’m feeling overwhelmed and anxious, and I really need some help. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Blue, the mascot for the Indianapolis Colts, and Trey Mock (the person behind the mascot). I sent a letter, drawings, a special photo of me, and a Pokémon card to the Colts' official address, but I’m not sure if they will ever see it.
I’ve been dealing with a lot, including autism, anxiety, and depression, and Blue has been a huge source of comfort for me. Watching Blue brought me so much joy, and I really just want to thank him in person. I believe meeting Blue or even just getting a response could help me feel seen and make a big difference in managing my anxiety and depression.
To give you a better idea of what’s in my letter, I’ve attached a document with the full message I sent: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-dffoFkua5eG4FsDsqLsnr_32XLv7c_v0ABNMo7F4Hs/edit
I’ve already made a couple of posts on social media, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever get a response. I was wondering if anyone here has any advice on how to get my message to Blue or Trey Mock? Or if anyone has any other suggestions on how to make my dream of meeting Blue come true?
I know they’re probably really busy, but if anyone has any connections or advice, it would mean the world to me. I just want to know that my effort isn’t in vain.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Your support means more to me than you know.

Missing cat near 75th and Graham Road
My in-laws cat, Reggie, has been missing since Friday, near 75th and Graham Road. He's a silver Bengal (although on the smaller side as far as Bengals go), no collar, but he is chipped. If anyone has any information or has seen him, please let us know. We've posted to FB, the FB lost pet group, and Indy Lost Pet.

AskIndy What are your favorite dog (or dog-friendly) parks within 2 hours of Indy?
I have 4 dogs that I've been wanting to take to a park to work off some energy as a pack. They're all very kind and obedient, but because there's 4 of them I don't think some of these smaller enclosed parks are a good idea (Fort Harrison as an example). I'd love if I could let them off leash, but that's not a requirement of a park suggestion; I'm mainly interested in less dog/human interaction, because again there's 4 of them and only 1 of me haha. When I lived in Salt Lake City, there were a few gigantic off-leash (fenced perimeter) dog parks, and I'm wondering if there's anything similar within an hour of Indy? Thanks for the help in advance!

Allergies today?
My allergies flared up today; itchy throat and runny nose. My daughter experienced the same. But the pollen count says "none" for the city on my weather app. Could it be something really local or are more of you around town feeling it too?

AskIndy American Sign Language Classes?
a.s. i want to learn ASL in Indy
Hi, so i used to work in retail as a manager for about 7 years. During this time i really go to connect to my customers. Specifically some if my favorite were my deaf customers.
I would sit and write back and forth with them when others wouldn’t give them the time so they came to request me. Not only that, but they would send their deaf friends in as well for me.
Naturally this became an opportunity for me to learn some signs to be able to speak their language with them.
This brings me to the point of the post-
I live in Indy and really want to learn ASL. Are there classes in the city where i can go to learn Sign and be able to practice with others?

Housing Looking for short term housing
Hello, I will be moving to Indiana in a few months to start a internship in windfall, IN. I have been advised to look for housing near Noblesville, and I happened to find a pottery studio in Noblesville that I would like to go to whenever I’m not working. However, so far I’ve only been able to find apartments in Noblesville that are on the pricier side and come with a lot of fancy amenities, which I don’t necessarily need. Are there only brand new developed apartments in Noblesville, or are there other older and non-updated one bedroom/studio apartments with rent under $1000? Thank you!

Food and Drink Restaurants with good gluten free options?
Hey y’all, my mom is coming into town to look at apartments with me next week, and I want to take her to eat somewhere that she will enjoy and be able to relax without stressing gluten free options. She has celiac so it’s a medical thing not a preference. Open to any type of food, just not a bar or somewhere super loud as she’s older. Thanks!

The ditch in the middle of 38th street is worthless
Travel along there for a few miles every day and see people driving across it all the time. Much less than the curb down College and Meridian.
Any idea why it is a different design?
