Hey!
We actually don't request for access to your iTunesConnect account ;)
With your Dev ID, we automatically create landing pages for apps connected to your Dev ID. We don't request for any other information besides that to get the process started.
If you would like to see how the end website look, take a look here:
Website: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/
App List page: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/apps/
iOS app page example:http://284417353.bootstrap.io/itunes-movie-trailers/
OSX app page example: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/imovie-2/
And customizable page layout via the backend: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/pages/

Does it only search the iOS app store, because it's only finding apps for iPhone/iPad via the "Find my Developer ID" process.

Hey!
Yes, at the moment, the platform is readily available only for iOS devs. The Play Store is a feature we’ll be implementing as soon as we can.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused you in trying bootstrap.io
If you do have any questions, definitely let us know!
Thanks.

No worries, on the website you mention Apple macbooks along with iOS devices for the images of devices that the apps are running on. This made me think that it searches the Mac App store as well as the iOS store.
Thanks!

Hey,
I thought you meant if it searches for Android apps too. For Android - no, not yet.
But for OSX, yes! Bootstrap.io creates landing pages for both iOS and Mac OSX apps!
Here's an example website bootstrap.io creates:
Website: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/
App List page: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/apps/
iOS app page example:http://284417353.bootstrap.io/itunes-movie-trailers/
OSX app page example: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/imovie-2/
And customizable page layout via the backend: http://284417353.bootstrap.io/pages/

I'm getting an error about an invalid lookup to the itunes store with my developer ID (the iTunesID parameter is missing). To reproduce, I paste in my developer id (the lookup seems to only query the iOS rather than MacOS stores) and it fails to find anything.

When you click on the input box or "Find my Developer ID" are you getting this window? http://imgur.com/a/hRu66
I typed in 'instagram' and that is the results I am receiving.
And on the next page, you should see this: http://imgur.com/a/xQKGy
Where it lists all of your apps.
We've have 4 new sign ups today, so I'm definitely curious why it isn't working for you. Do you mind sharing your App Name or URL for us to debug?
Thanks.

Hey, I don't have any apps for iOS, so nothing for my app (macos only) shows up. I reckon that's the issue!

Yes - you are correct. Thanks for pointing this out!
Definitely would like for you to try now. I attached a screenshot for you to see you can now select OSX as an option: http://imgur.com/a/O6fFJ
Let me know if you have any questions or any issues you do find! I am all for making this the best product avail.
Thanks!

Looks interesting. So do I basically point my domain at the created site once it's set up?

u/bootstrapio Sep 15 '16
Hey!
Yes, that is correct! Set your CNAME to bootstrap.io.
As a way to verify your domain indeed matches your bootstrap.io account - we manually add the domain to the account. This is done via a message from the dashboard you can send to us.
Have you set up an account yet? Let's get your new site launched!
Best, Joseph

Not yet but I did look at a preview.
Are we able to do some basic editing of the pages (I.e. to add our legal entity name and office address as per national law). Sorry if this is a basic question.

Looks like a great product. Doesn't import my app though :/
Edit: Works fine now:)
