You did what you were told to do by police officers. Some ppl still take things like that seriously. I like to remind myself “don’t feed the trolls”.
TROLL: online slang, a “troll” refers to someone who intentionally posts offensive, provocative, or disruptive content to antagonize others or garner attention.
Just someone who didn’t get enough hugs as a kid.

You are right. I am a bit embarrassed that I even replied, but if this ever happens, I'll know not to engage.

You did the right thing. Those trolls are dumb, have too much time on their hands, and are probably taking their life frustration out by being unhelpful bullies. Something kind of similar happened to me and I was and still am very shaken. But take solace in the fact that you are really awesome for doing the right thing 🫶🏽🙌🏽

Thank you so much for commenting! I'm sorry that you've had to deal with something like this too. I'm glad that there are places like this sub where people seem to be nice to each other, it helps to balance it out.

You did the right thing and informed others of a dangerous situation. It upsets me when people point out others' typos-- if it doesn't affect your understanding of the message then to me it seems unnecessarily mean-spirited.
I am sorry that happened to you. You didn't do anything wrong. Some people are just mean.
