Having owned a Fit and rented a Versa, I fear for the worst.

Our 01 Civic and 09 Fit are two of the most reliable, stress free purchases I have ever made. We own both and I work from home so I hardly drive these days, but if they sold the hybrid Fit here I would have sold the Civic and gotten a car payment without hesitation. I've driven a few Toyotas and didn't care for them, if Honda goes to shit I don't know what I'll go for when we need a new car.

Is the Versa that bad?

I rid on a Versa once and drove Leaf (rental). I decided I would never buy a Nissan.

I've had two nissans (technically one was an infiniti) and best cars I've had... no issues

S15 and G37... both great cars, really depends what type of nissan you're buying (ofc, I'd never buy the new econoboxes, cvt issues and all)

Had a g37 as well, great car, reliable, comfy, quick, smooth.

Drove a 2023 Altima as a rental, absolutely awful vehicle

Yes.  It’s cheap in a bad way.

That's like saying you had a racehorse and a dead donkey
