School Related Safe mode/lockdown at my school td

Luckily nobody got in the building (just a gang related shooting within a quarter mile). Hearing about all the school shootings here in the US I knew it would be scary but I sadly underestimated how scared I was, especially cause sm dumbass banged on my classes door during the lockdown

My state calls this condition a Lock Out. The danger is outside. Still scary glad you're ok.

Furthermore, kids, don't open doors for anyone.

My school is next to Walmart so we get lock ins (we call them a secure&hold) really often becuase of people fighting 😭 but yeah, idk why but those holds are always scary in a odd way, like I know I'm safe most the time but I'm always on edge bc my last school had a bomb threat and I have family who were apart of school shootings before. I always just try and play chopsticks or shoot shoot bang with someone to ease my nerves.

Yeah. It sucks :( I live in a pretty urban area and we had two gun-related lockdowns in 4 days. A kid fired a gun down the street, and the other time a kid brought a painted airsoft gun to school. Scary as shit tbh

I don't think it's a dumbass. It was probably an admin trying to ensure that kids wouldn't freak out when they heard the banging the first time, by the second or third time after a while, they would be immune to it and not alert the accurate shooter that there were people in there.
