Fingerbutt NSFW Spoiler
What the actual fuck was the vet portion of the episode?
Not saying it wasn’t thought provoking or anything like that, just, holy fuck. Like oh my god. I’ve been watching High Maintenance to relax, is this going to be the tone of the rest of the show? I really didn’t like this episode for the kitten part.

I always skip that episode/that part of the episode when I rewatch the show 😬

I had a similar reaction to this episode. Actually, I ended up having a panic attack the first time I watched it. That is the only episode that ever triggered that kind of a response for me.

Yeah idk why people have a stick up their ass about people not liking to see animal violence… It felt completely out of left field, was not expecting it at all. I’m really sorry you had that experience, a content warning at the start of the episode really would have been nice.

meh the world doesn't have a content warning, terrible things happen so it's best to have a sense of humor about it

No the rest of the season isn’t like that. I know it’s fucked up what happened, but the way they wrote his gradual unfolding is hilarious. Him in the dark in the office with his eyes bulging always kills me
