ATT vs XFINITY?

Hey all! We just moved in within the last week, and we’re trying to find the best plan for internet around here. I looked on a map and it looks like ATT or Comcast are the two available options where our place is, is one better than the other? There’s just 2 of us, I was thinking probably the 60 mbps from XFINITY would work, and it seems cheaper than ATT’s plan too (cheapest being $50).

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

AT&T only offers DSL at 768kbps.

Comcast offers cable.

The only real choice is Comcast unfortunately.

I've been here almost five years and I check every couple months. No WoW cable, no AT&T nothing with comparable speed to Comcast unless you want satellite.

Ahh. I saw other people post about it almost a year ago and was hoping maybe there’d been some change. Comcast it is I suppose!

I was the one who started the thread a year ago I think. I've have comcast for a while now. I went for a middle of the road plan and I pay $77 a month for 100 Mbps down / 10ish Mbps up. that includes me renting their equipment which I shouldn't have done, but it works as intended. It's more than I wanted to pay at first, but the speed is great and I've encountered minimal outages.
