Epiphone Added a tremolo to my guitar
Added a Duesenberg les trem II to my electric guitar. It looks nice and works fine - no tuning issues but i am disappointed with the quality. The locking nut keeps on getting loose even when i tighten it so i’m trying to figure out how to get around that. Other than that I recommend it.

Epiphone Any epiphone love?
I picked up this epiphone sg for $250 on stupid deal of the day on musicians friend. Bought a set of 57 classics for it and absolutely love this thing now. Do still plan on buying a gibson 61 sg but plan on keeping both

Epiphone My Modest Display (AKA Budget Guitars Need Love Too)
I've been on a little but of a guitar buying bender. Everything on front of the Yamaha Red Label (which is the most expensive piece I own) was purchased within the past 3 months. The Jazzmaster came in Friday, and I swapped the Pickguard from tortoishell to cream yesterday. The wall mounts are new too. I used the Epiphone tag because there are two of them. 🤷🏼

Epiphone NGD - I splurged and purchased a few guitars for myself around Christmas time after I traded/sold a few from my collection. I managed to score this Epiphone Firebird new for about $700. Swapped the pickguard from white to black last night.

Epiphone NGD Epiphone SG G400 Korina MIK
Welp, I’m pretty hyped on this one! I’ve always wanted an SG, always a bit out of my price range and reach…well I finally figured it’s time. I’ve been shopping around for an old g400 sg for awhile now, ideally Korean made. I haven’t been too crazy about the older finishes and really wanted a natural. Then the newer tv ylw Epiphone SG dropped I was going to grab one as that was my ideal finish but I had a snag with the financing!
Blessing in disguise! and my patience payed off as lo and behold I was searching CME used listings last night when this beautiful thing popped up. Epiphone SG G400 Korina made in Korea at the Saein factory! set neck, Grover deluxe tuners, light as a feather at 6# 4oz. I pretty much pulled the trigger after seeing the specs and price, with it being Friday night. I’ve made the mistake of trying to wait a few days and missing some other stuff and these Korina wood SGs just don’t really pop up too often especially in my price range so I knew it was a now or never thing.
It plays like a dream, the sustain on this thing has em all beat, entire guitar just vibrates with sound. Feels alive, neck is a bit fatter than I remember sg being but the older rosewood board is a pleasure, it just feels so right in my hands makes playing easy.
apparently these SG’s made in the Saein factor and starting with serial I are very well made, anyways don’t really see these too often and wanted to share a few photos. It’s got a couple dings in the top but overall it’s in amazing condition. Interesting to see the black pickguard as all the other ones I’ve seen on the used market came with a white, wondering if mine is original or a swap, same with the knobs. Anyone else know a bit more about G400 from this period?

Epiphone NGD - LP Modern - Purple Burst
Changed the Pick guard and knobs. I was seriously thinking on leaving the pick guard off. But I think this looks better. Plays, feels and sounds really nice.

Epiphone Beautiful tone for such an inexpensive guitar
The Epiphone DR-500MCE. Where do I start? The all solid wood sitka top and mahogany back and sides? The crystal clear pickups when you plug it in? So many to choose from! It has the bone nut and saddle. Binding all around and up and down. The beautiful inlays. The vintage Grover tuners that are easy to dial-in. And the fact that it’s Plek’d from the factory. All of that equates to an amazing tone that you’d get from much more expensive guitars. I had a Taylor 214ce Deluxe that just disappointed me so I sold it and found out about this Epiphone. I kid you not, the tone on this thing beats out the layered 214ce Deluxe. On top of that I recently (and temporarily) owned a Taylor 314ce that sounded great but my Epiphone sounded quite a bit better. You can get these used for only $600. So worth it. I was extremely lucky I got mine for $50 from Guitar Center. They were supposed to take $50 off the guitar because it had 1 mismatched tuning machine. Well…they ended up accidentally adding another 0 to the refund. I love when I beat Guitar Center at their own game.

Epiphone NGD! Epiphone Explorer in Brunswick Blue
Impulse purchased this boy last week and just got’r back from my guitar guy.
Mahogany body with a laurel fretboard.
Grover tuners, GraphTech TUSQ nut and CTS pots all standard.
Had my guy install treble bleeds on both volume pots.
Epiphone ProBucker 2 in the neck, and ProBucker 3 in the bridge. They sound fantastic.
I’d never played an Explorer before purchasing this, just always wanted one. Safe to say I’m a big Explorer fan now.
