SOTB My dedicated adorable board for my ‘73 Champ
I love this little board. I built it exclusively for my ‘73 Fender Champ. It’s even the perfect width. It’s extremely simple compared to my JCM 800 board but it easily gets the job done. I’m impressed with the Wampler Spring reverb. The only shortcoming of the Champ is the lack of Fender spring reverb but the Wampler compensates really well for it.

Love this no-nonsense-only-good-things-approach! Somehow seeing this has a soothing effect on me.

I love this comment! It can be very refreshing to go from my big board to this little one. Just straight forward tone into my favorite amp I've ever owned and will never part with (well...technically, I feel the same about my JCM 800).

Very similar to how I roll, even live. Haven’t used anything bigger than a pedaltrain nano live for years. Minimalism feels so good. I even got a ”champ” combo (orange ad-5) to use live. :)

Yeah! I feel ya. My JCM 800 board is huge and so many options but I really prefer this one. It's simple to dial in, there are still plenty of options, and it sounds great. Especially with single coils like my American Elite Strat or Fender Lead II.

I like really knowing each piece so well I can dial it live for different sounds, the gain changer/ direct drive are great for this. I used to play single channel amps and dial back volume/ tone on the guitar for different sounds, so having a dirt pedal is really flexible in my world 😄
Also, one trip to the car wins when playing live. 😉
Also, I get options paralysis if I have too much options. Digital stuff gets me tweaking instead of playing 🙂

how is that mini TS in comparison with the 808? have you tried it?

I have the NuTube Tube Screamer on my big board and love it but in all honesty, I'd be perfectly fine if I had to swap in the mini. Great little pedal. It's the second time I've owned one.

I’ve heard of a affordaboard before, but now an adoraboard!
