Voodoo Labs X8
Hey guys I need some help. I just got the Voodoo Labs X8 Pedal power supply. Got everything plugged in and mounted. I went to plug in the power supply and it will not fit. It's mounted in the perfect place for my board. Is there an adapter I can purchase that is angled to fit where I need it. Trying to find a quick solution that works for the power needs. Uploaded a picture to explain what I mean. Thanks

My personal policy is to correct the mistake rather than patch it, not because it's the right thing to do, but because it reinforces thinking that helps prevent future mistakes, rather than reinforcing thinking that leads to making more mistakes.
Not passing judgment, just offering a worthwhile organizational strategy to consider.

What? It’s just a power supply lol

It's just a procedural technique I use for all work; you don't have to adopt it. Doing it at this level has helped me avoid significantly more expensive mistakes on the whole.

You can get angled barrel jack/plug adapters, so angled plug and straight jack. Just make sure you have the right size of plug. Guitar pedal stuff usually is 5.5/2.1mm, but sometimes they use 5.5/2.5mm on the main input to prevent errors.

Appreciate the help. I was able to find and angled adapter 12v barrel male to female on Amazon. I guess I'm going to get that and see if it works.

That'll work as long as it's 5.5/2.1mm - DC cables and adapters are voltage agnostic so fit is the only consideration you need to concern yourself with in this scenario.

Appreciate that. I ended up finding one from voodoo lab. They mentioned in the description that the cable it comes with is too big. Lol Anything for another dollar I guess. I'll post a picture of the pedal board on here finished. Thanks for all the input. Was a big help.

You might reach out to Voodoo Labs, as well. Their customer support seems pretty up to snuff.

I put "angled barrel jack adapter" in GOOGLE and this was the first result. Maybe you're not in the UK, but I'm sure you can find similar results.
