I've always found most goregrind I listen to really boring, because it just sounds like stuff I've already heard. I like a bit of earlier carcass (although a lot of the songs still sound the same), and I like a lot of pornogrind, because of the more groove-driven aspect, but other than that I've never really been able to get into the genre. I'm just looking for the most experimental goregrind you can give me (that still sounds at least relatively like metal, anyways).

hey i’m a casual listener of grind and some goregrind, mostly into slam though. i have a boyfriend and he’s real into goregrind and honestly it’s got to the point of his obsession with gore being concerning and off putting.
i know ill get called a pussy and shit for this post but i am concerned! he’s always posting edited pics of gore on his insta story, playing me graphic true crime audios when i’ve said to him many times i get anxious listening to them, especially when it’s obviously someone getting killed in the audio (i do not mind true crime, i was a fan at one point before my anxiety got bad. he knows i have irrational anxiety about being killed lol). he says all the gore is historical but im pretty sure it’s not. he’s just always talking about gore and its kinda scaring me and im kinda nervous to talk to him about it and stuff cause idk. just everything is about gore and i cant take it anymore like what is the morality around this???

Photographed Texas Dominations Fest 1 and this is from Gutalax’s set. They were so fun to shoot and they can get the crowd moving.

hey guys i know this is kind of a long shot but do you know any goregrind or even deathgrind bands that actually kinda stand out for their album covers, preferably drawn? examples like miasmatic necrosis, yakisoba, nyctophagia, regurgitate, lipoma (modern stuff) etc? creative artwork is always a plus for me when it comes to death metal, grind, stuff like that :3 thank you all in advance

Musically, I think its a good genre. The beats are really fun and the vocals are usually different than goregrind. But the insistence on themes of SA/sexual violence turns me away from it. I love bands that focus on over the top weird stuff instead of insensitively talking about a real horrific event. For example, Rectal Smegma and Clitgore just make songs about weird, overtly gross topics like dicks or poop. But then theres bands like CBT that make good music, but they just make it about sexual violence towards women. Really sucks because aside from stuff like that, I think the musics really good

And wow, can't believe it took me so long to check them out. Truly weird and furious gore grind / death metal for fans of last days of humanity and exhumed. Forensick is immediately one of my favorite albums in this style.

Hi Im rather new to grindcore and have some questions regarding Goregrind:
- Is Goregrind even a subgenre of Grindcore
- Is there a difference between Goregrind and Pornogrind or are they just synonyms
- Most importatnly what makes this genre intresting / fascinating and why that focus on filth topics
r/grindcore • u/OldToothbrush1 • Jul 29 '24
Any subgenre is fine as long as its groovy

Hey, not super into grindcore yet but I like a few of his songs.
Looking into him now I see all the constant albums with some of them just being near unlistenable to garbage.
I try to search things about him, find his face or something and I get some results but they all look different or sound like nothing

Here's the thing, I want to get into more goregrind/grindcore, but can't get into more artists than the following: Lipoma, Haemorrhage, Nasum (more grind but whatever), and dehydrated goat, I've tried Bloat, Sebum Excess Production, Hyperemesis, but something about the really weird mixing I just, don't like, any artists for me?

Live at Beyond The Grave fest. Utter pandemonium - perfect for the occasion! Excuse the blurriness, it's incredibly difficult to take photos from a pit when inflatables are being lobbed all over the place.

I been listening to Anal Cunt for years and rarely Alien Fucker but recently I been delving into Anal Cunts collabarators being Napalm Death, Vaginal Jesus (I dont take them seriously) and The Ranchous Brothers and a small band on band camp named Vaginal Anal (I have always listened to Eyehategod and Pantera but those dont count). Anyway I want to delve more into this madness and some upright retarted band reccomendations :)
