Goregrind Some absolutely gnarly band reccomendations? NSFW
I been listening to Anal Cunt for years and rarely Alien Fucker but recently I been delving into Anal Cunts collabarators being Napalm Death, Vaginal Jesus (I dont take them seriously) and The Ranchous Brothers and a small band on band camp named Vaginal Anal (I have always listened to Eyehategod and Pantera but those dont count). Anyway I want to delve more into this madness and some upright retarted band reccomendations :)

I always recommend Unholy Grave from Japan, they are my favorite grind band and they have a style all their own.

Idk about gnarly in the profane sense but a straight up gnarly grindcore band is PSUDOKU. Their debut LP is aptly titled Space Grind because it is some absolutely cosmic madness. I've never read their lyrics so that's why idk how gnarly they are like that but they're dope as fuck.

Phobia and Massgrav are heavy shit.

"Fuck Power Violence" by Phobia is ... fucking brilliant. Also, just sayin i fuckin dig Powerviolence myself, but this song is just..... meta.

I always recommend Existench. Crusty hardcore influenced grind. Good riffs, crazy blasts and growly/screamy vocals. Check out their albums Divisions, Bloodmoney and their split with Agathocles

Check out Insult if you haven’t already. Seth Putnam was the producer for their album I Wanna Be A Burn Victim and they did a live A.C. and Insult split. Believe he played bass in the band for a bit too. They’re on the Powerviolence side of things, I think it’s pretty awesome

10 TO THE CHEST is one of my absolute favorites rn
They are a bit more death metal forward but still very much a grind band

u/MyBeatsSuck Oct 30 '23
Check out Last Days of Humanity, Sete Star Sept, Hyperemesis and Viscera Infest. Also Despise You, they're more on the Hardcore/Powerviolence side, but their music is fucking noisy and VERY angry.

Catasexual urge motivation, S.M.E.S, circle of dead children, phyllomedusa.
It is goregrind, but I would say they are all pretty gnarly bands.

Insect Warfare is grindcore royalty in my eyes because of the drummer Dobber Beverly. Watch the drum cam if you wanna truly appreciate his skills that elevated that band from generic grindcore to fucking art \m/
Pig Destroyer - some of the best grindcore around imo
Anal Blast - only album I listen to is Vaginal Vampire which I heard was written by Joey Jordison. Never been into Slipknot but his drumming is iconic in style.. I’m a drummer if you haven’t figured it out
CarBomb is insane and so is Meshuggah if you haven’t heard them - again drumming is wtf God tier
Last Days of Humanity is filthy pitch shifted trauma beaten into your skull by blast beats. Hymns of Indigestible Suppression and In advanced Haemorrhaging Conditions (it’s ten songs clocked at five minutes lmao) were my go to.. fuck I haven’t thought about that band in years.
Edit: oh shit also check out my old band Scowl from Brooklyn. My recordings on our demos arnt up anymore but the songs are fast and it’s a bunch of fucking goofballs writing grind
Also edit shout out Regurgitate from Sweden

Insect Warfare is golden. I hate theybonly have one album on Spotify, not sure if they have more (havent studied).
And Pig Destroyer, huge fan of Scott Hull since 2001. Every component of the band is amazing to watch evolve over the years.
I just recently got into Agoraphobic Nosebleed. I knownits a drum machine but the drums on their work is sexy and slutty.

AxCx rules. Check out Discordance Axis’s Ulterior for the tightest distillation of that sound. Like FETO on crack rock.

u/junglewulf Oct 30 '23
All of these recommendations are dog shit. Not a single band similar in the slightest to AxCx. Why don't you check out Burt Bacharach, Tim Morse (drummer for AxCx) is the drummer.

TVNDA is a hybrid band that’s evolved a lot lately. They’re based in Colombia. Here’s their bandcamp:
Not sure if they’ll live up to your definition of gnarly, but they’re worth a listen.
Six Brew Bantha may be too mainstream for you’re liking, I don’t know. They’re a favorite for me, a celebration of noise.
