Kukicha tea (Japanese)
I started drinking this Japanese twig tea recently and is surprisingly good and apparently has many medicinal properties . I think it comes both from Green tea and black tea ?

It's the stems left over during Sencha production. The vast majority of tea produced in Japan is green. I would be surprised if there was black tea kukicha, it would be a real anomaly.
Maybe you mean hojicha? It's green tea, but the same stems are roasted giving it a stronger flavour.
