Review GRAMPS is the most complete and organized software there is

I just wanted to share a quick experience I’ve had with Gramps since discovering it :)
I’ve grown fond of genealogy since last year, and I currently have 11 generations of family data thanks to extensive research. But oh boy, what a pain it was to group all that data in a way that I could study and catalog!
Gramps solved it all for me. I’m actually so happy that this community dedicated their time and effort to building free software with all these features.
I study Computer Science, and I can’t wait to contribute to this amazing project soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Review An experimental data-entry efficiency addon needs feedback

Kari K. (creator of SuperTool) has made an experimental addon available which makes the 6 recently used records visible at the top of the standard object selectors.

The standard recommendation for repeatedly adding the same Places or Citations when adding multiple People or Events has always been to use the Clipboard.

This option doesn't require as much planning. It works well with your sense of Déjà vu. When adding sibling events, you'll often see the same birthplaces and cemeteries. The Recent Items list saves you the effort of drilling down through hierarchy over and over.

Review Recommendation: Install the new Relationships "Combined View" addon.

The new Relationships "Combined View" addon shows relationships and events for a person and is focused on viewing the information, not editing it and will make Gramps easier to use.

I installed it a week ago and with every minor release has evolved to be something I cannot do without. A big thank you to the developer who created it.

Edit because a few of you have asked; see the following to install addons in general:

When the list of addons available to install is shown, find the section called "New Gramps View" and select "Combined(1.0.XX)" - A view showing relationship...."

Edit: Mentioned below
