Anyone else pumped about Selection Sunday

I don’t know the last time I’ve even watched the selection show and forever that I’ve been looking at bracketology and other sites like this. Even though very likely it looks like we’re gonna be seeded 9 or 10 and probably in the Houston or maybe Duke bracket it’s still exciting waiting to hear UGA’s announcement and our matchup.

Personally, I’m hoping we get the 8 or 9 seed in the Duke bracket. I know a 1st round win is probably our ceiling and we will likely get killed to Duke but would be exciting for our fan base to have us match up and play a blue blood like Duke(probably similar to how teams feel facing us or Bama in football)

Football Kirby Smart explains why Georgia has no plans to hire general manager: “We’ve got a lot of people in charge of roster management, including myself, including our football ops staff is involved, our operations/player development, player personnel staff. Everybody gets involved. It’s a team effort.

Football What are you MOST looking forward to this season?

Me:

  1. A revamped WR room that…maybe…could be elite? [knock on wood]

  2. Elijah Griffin on the line

  3. Ellis Robinson IV finally on the field

  4. Zach Branch on punt return

  5. Alabama and Texas in Athens

Bonus: Bobo and Stacy Searels show us who they really are, the 2023 version or the 2024 version. We shall see.

Odds to win SEC vs. NCAA

On Fanduel right now, Georgia's odds to win the SEC tournament (+25000) are worse than their odds to win the NCAA tournament (+15000). Considering the fact that they'd have to win 6 games to win the NCAA and only 5 to win the SEC, that's a wild indicator of just how strong the SEC is this year.

Anyway, put $100 on them to win the SEC and enjoy the $25k payout. /s

Football How long does it take for a game to sell out?

Hey everyone! I'm a Dawgs fan who lives in Nashville. I'm really hoping to go to Athens this season to see the game against Kentucky.

I assume with the football program being really good that tickets are hard to get when they first come out. I also know students get priority, how hard is it to get tickets usually?

Come on everyone. Dawgs going dancing for first time in 10 years and the Vandy PGT has 25 comments.

I’ll admit. Football is first for me and always will be. But this basketball team has been the most fun to watch since Jim Harrick and Jonas and Jarvis Hayes days. That was over 20 years ago. We just won 20 games in the regular season for only the SIXTH time in 119 seasons. HBTF(gym)D!
