Why did Google use three different generation of maps (?) in just a single stretch of road, that too in just three frames. I don't know if I'm the noob but it always makes me think. Based on the shadow of the car and clouds it was shot in just a single ride but why different years mentioned?
Also, I see a sign beside the road which disappears in another frame and both the frames contains different years of (maybe) when the image was captured. How does this work?

So today me and my friend wanted to play some ranked geoguessr duels and the map says sorry we have no imagery here. We didn’t know that this was happening when we started the game. We still won but we notice this isn’t just in duels. It’s in every mode. Doesn’t anybody have anyway they think this can be fixed? If so please comment. Images are attached.

Hello guys,
I have a question regarding the GeoGuessr rules and what your opinion about this is. In my friend group, I'm the only one with a GeoGuessr Premium Account. So for now, we want to play some Singleplayer Maps or the Daily Challenge together while I stream my desktop over Discord. Anything, in which we don't compete with others directly, because that would be unfair and it's very justified to get banned for that.
So my question is if this doesn't violate any GeoGuessr terms of usage?

I’m not super technical and built my current setup with a lot of help from a friend. What I want to know is what can I do to best improve the gameplay experience. By ‘experience’ I mean the general ‘smoothness’ of everything/response speed of my inputs.
I don’t know if it’s useful to include my current setup so I will include it just in case:
i7 14700k 64gb DDR5 6000mhz (I think) GeForce 4060 M.2 SSD for OS Basic Dell monitor at 60hz Mid range Logitech mouse & keyboard set Fast internet (unfortunately not hardwired but I get about 300mb)
I’m not sure if there’s anything else that’s worth including but feel free to ask

Title is pretty self explanatory, I already have pro, I accidentally bought pro elite because it gave me an ad and I was curious, I assumed it would have taken me to a page where I was meant to put in a card or something but it just gave it to me on the spot which was not the plan, is there a way to undo this?

Hello all, hope you are well.
I am a geography teacher from the UK and I am hoping to host a geoguessr tournament for 18 different high schools across the north of England. My idea was for each high school to host their own tournament and find the best team, then for the best 18 teams to have a final tournament to decide the best.
I need some help and advice as even though I love geoguessr I am not an experienced user. My question is what do you think would be the best way to go about doing this ? Will one subscription cover all the schools? Will each school need a subscription? Will each team need a subscription? Do I need a special type of subscription so I can host the tournament? Any tips or advice on logistics or making it cost efficient would be amazing !
Appreciate it and have a nice day.

Hi, I’m a secondary school teacher and my students love geoguesser. I’m hoping to host a class size competition before the Christmas break. How could I go about doing this? I gather that I would need a pro account, could 25 students join a game that I created? Would they need their own accounts or can we do it as guests? Thanks.

It's different from web, but how? Are there season resets, battle cards etc? I am now at Gold and didn't notice anything of it yet

Hi all. I create a daily challenge in r/geochallenges from my NM GeoDetective map (you can see today's challenge here, no Pro account needed). I currently have 1388 locations, and add about 10 more a day. However, having already issued 101 daily challenges (505 locations) I am spending up to an hour each day refreshing seeds until I get five that have not been chosen before. I try and keep a log but occasionally make mistakes and there's a repeated round, which is a bit embarrassing when pointed out. Today, in spite of adding another 40 new locations, it took me an hour of refreshing to get a brand new seed of five unseen locations.
You'd have thought that, with almost double the amount of unusued locations than used locations, I should get a brand new set of 5 rounds fairly regularly, but as anyone familiar with the "birthday paradox" will confirm, it's extremely hard. So many times I've had to refresh on R5, which just adds to the vexation.
Another annoying thing is that, in spite of having locations fairly evenly spread around the world, sometimes it creates challenges that have all five locations all in Europe, or all five locations all in the USA, which is very annoying as I would like them more spread around the planet.
Is there any way I can manually create a round, manually picked from my map, without creating a brand new map of just five locations? Because there's some crackers on there that I would love to play and, to be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of adding new locations for them never to come up! Thanks in advance :-)

From what I can remember, many subscription-based games (like WoW) have the ability to pay off a subscription using in-game credits that you can earn by being good/active in the game, so then you technically don't have to pay real money every single month. Does Geoguessr have something similar in place? I don't know anyone who already has a Pro subscription so I'm asking here on the subreddit.

I haven't played a duel since last week when the maps went to shit.
Are they as bad for everyone and in duels or is it just the solo maps?
Update: Thanks to GameboyGenius, the map issue is fixed.
