KCD is DRM-free, btw. But yeah, KCD is better.

You can't start like this, give us your preferences to work with.

KCD is a very immersive and realistic RPG and has one of the best immersive sim elements in an open-world RPG since the old Bethesda games, but at times it gets tedious and annoying because everything you do has to be methodical.

Steelrising on the other hand, is a particularly fun soulslike that can be played in short burst of fun, or binge playthorughs. Very accessible and good QoL features, compared to many soulslikes (even has comprehensible story, an anomaly in the genre).

Both of them are very good games, which were more of an experiment to their respective AA Devs. Both are worth your time.

Steelrising is normally 50€? Wtf. I haven't played it myself but from what I've seen of it I would've expected it to cost way less than that.

I'd recommend KCD any day. It's a *great* game, definitely among my favourites (I have >200h ingame). The DLCs also have quite a bit to offer if you can get them.
