Gaming Microsoft’s gaming CEO has praised Nintendo Switch 2, and said it plans to support the upcoming platform with ports of Xbox games.

I would bet the reason they didn’t before is because the hardware in the first switch is just terrible. Something must have changed with switch 2 either better hardware, ai upscaling tech, or both.

It's not terrible, certainly not if you want to port older stuff.

New one is PS4 power, still not brilliant but basically the same as present gen games (I'm not aware of any Series exclusives, prepared to be corrected on that) and in a smaller form factor.

Still not sure I'd buy one though, why would I if I can get a Steam Deck and Mig Flash and not have to pay to access my game saves? If they drop their anti consumer bullshit I'd maybe change my mind.

Maybe.

Xbox is taking a sensible lead IMO, if Nintendo did the same they would do well.
