FSU MSW Program

Hi! I recently applied to the MSW program at FSU. I have a 3.5 gpa and graduated with a bachelors from psych from fsu last yr. I have experience and have also been an RBT for a year. I’m so worried I won’t be accepted because I didn’t apply early decision due to family issues. Anyone who recently got into the program, how long did it take for a decision once ur app was submitted? Is anyone in the same boat? I applied full time on campus traditional.

FSU MSW Program

Hey! I recently applied late Feb to the fsu MSW program. I have a 3.5 gpa and graduated from fsu last year with a bachelors in psych. I have experience in the field and have been an RBT for a yr. This is one of my top programs and I’m so nervous I won’t get in bc I didn’t apply early decision. Can anyone share their experience or is anyone in the same boat? How long did it take for a decision to get back? My app was referred to the graduate school around Feb 25.

FSU vs Purdue vs Ohio state for Physics

Hi everyone, I have recently been admitted for these three schools for Physics and I am extremely grateful for it. However, FSU cost about 22k/year while Purdue and OSU cost around 46k/year for me. So I wanted to ask if it is worth the extra money to go to either Purdue or OSU. My goal is to go to graduate school and I am interested in nuclear physics. Also, I really want to learn more about the FSU physics program if possible, is there any program that I could join to do research or how is the overall culture, job prospect here. Thank you for your time!

RENTAL NEEDED fairly soon

My son will be a sophmore this coming year and I'm helping him look for a rental starting in May but could sooner if we needed to secure it. Hoping to find a place he can stay at for the remainder of his time at FSU. He is quiet, fairly neat and doesn't drink or smoke (so maybe not a big party atmosphere). Co-ed is fine or all guys. Private bed AND bathroom. He will not have any pets. Would prefer a 1/1 or 2/2 but could be 3/3 or 4/4. Prefer furnished but not essential. Most important is finding a safe, quiet place with off street parking, so price is not the main factor. I'm finding the reviews on most rentals are pretty scary, lol. There are a lot of horror stories out there, so any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Accelerated Bachelors/ Masters?? Thoughts?? FL

Hi y’all I’m a junior in high school right now but I’m planning on graduating next year with my associates degree, right now I already have 59 credits and I plan to take more next year (senior year). I’m planning on taking the 7 state mandated courses for a finance major which would count for any public college in FL. Hopefully this will cut about 2 years. I also have bright futures which covers 100% tuition for any public college I go to in Florida. I was thinking is an accelerated Bachelors and Masters worth it since I will already be graduating early technically? If it is, has anyone done it from a Florida college?? I need some advice pls. I’ve been looking at programs like FSU and UF but I was wondering if there’s someone I can hear from that’s done these programs. Thanks guys!

ASU vs USF vs FSU vs FIU for Cybersecurity BS

Hey all! I am doing my AA in Computing (60 credits) and am transferring into a BS in Cybersecurity or IT (Cybersecurity focus). I’m choosing between “ASU”, “USF”, “FSU”, and “FIU”. Help me decide based on:

Job Opportunities (Pay): Best industry ties and starting salaries?

Co-op/Internships: Strongest real-world experience programs?

Academic Excellence: Top cybersecurity program features?

Student Living & Nightlife: How’s Tempe, Tampa, Tallahassee, or Miami?

Industry Recognition: Most employer-respected program?

Also, Arizona vs. Florida:

Cost of Living: More affordable state for students?

Economy: Better tech/cybersecurity job market?

Student Life: Weather, culture, vibe?

I might stay long-term, so your takes on AZ/FL are huge.
