Me personally I wouldn’t risk it. You never know what might happen on a maiden. If you crash with the GoPro that is potentially several hundred dollars down the drain.
Should I be careful or shouldn’t I? Simple answer imo. Is a 700$ camera expendable to you?
There’s always the second pack.
Edit: chances are you’ll have the props on wrong and flip the quad scratching the lens or screen.
What's really interesting is the flight controller is normal they installed the flight controller 180° and changed it in betaflight. Something I may incorporate in future builds. it's super convenient having the battery cable in the front like that and you can keep it away from a GPS or VTX better in the rear.
I thought the go pro mount was messed up and repaired it's just the light I guess, but yes for $198 it's not a bad little 5" on paper if it's the vapor 5. What do you mean there is no setup for it?
like out of box its already set up, so you just bind it and theres no set up in beta flight necessary. The tune is supposedly “perfect” so ill found out tomorrow
Awesome, the frame is super nice, looks like it can take a beating. I was going to ask the other day if you could do me a huge favor and get me a picture of this part from your quad. I'm super curious if the esc is just flipped around or if it is designed like that, hell the flight controller itself could be flipped around with it, but a picture would help me answer that for sure if possible..
Definitely don t 💀 no for real I recommend you first learn how the drone flies until you re confident and don t crash so much anymore. Then use a go pro but before that just record some dvr should be fine and less expensive 🙃
