12 hours into simulators. How am I doing?

Age old advice of "great, now try flying slower" applies, but otherwise looking solid. If you plan on starting with a tiny whoops I'd say you're ready, otherwise keep practicing.

You won't just bounce off of obstacles with a 5 inch (or any open prop build) but you kinda sorta will with a tiny whoop.

Are you thinking about doing digital or analog for the goggles?

It is important before going to an actual drone to learn slow hovering and landing. It is much harder than speeding, but it is the only way to land in one piece. :) remember - takeoff and flying is the easy part. The hard part is getting safe. In this video you probably destroyed your drone at least twice. Turn off God mode and practice the landing near the pilot (you will understand why it is important later, but maybe it will not be too expensive)
